Feature Story, Housing

We are in the process of making major renovations to the Robin Hotel. The hotel will be converted into single room occupancy units for Veterans who are exiting homelessness.  This project has received support from Hennepin County, the Robbinsdale City Council, and a team of volunteers.

The incredible team of volunteers contributing their time and skills to this project include West Edge Investments, Ibew Local 292, Journeyman Inside Wireman Electricians, Energy Technicians Energy Technicians, Apprentices from the Minneapolis Electrical JATC, IBEW Veterans Committee – Local 292, 292 Senior Sparkies Retiree Club, IBEW 292 RENEW (Reach out and Engage Next-gen Electrical Workers), Minneapolis EWMC (Electrical Workers Minority Caucus) and IBEW 292 Sisters in Solidarity.

We deeply appreciate the efforts of all these individuals and organizations in making this project a reality. Their commitment to helping veterans transition from homelessness is truly commendable.
