MACV Volunteers Make A Difference!
In honor of Volunteer Appreciation Month in April, we hosted an event for our incredible volunteers at the Mendota VFW Post 6690. We’re so grateful for our volunteers’ continued commitment to helping our Veterans rebuild their lives in Minnesota!
At MACV, volunteers organized by our volunteer coordinator, Laura Jenson, are at the core of creating opportunities for Veterans. In 2023, 673 individuals representing 37 volunteering organizations dedicated their time and energy to supporting MACV’s mission. The 5,404 hours these volunteers generously donated played a vital role in ensuring the sustainability and well-being of our organization.
MACV Volunteers contribute in various ways, such as providing labor for home renovations and property projects (yard clean-ups, landscaping, etc.) and supporting Veteran resource, outreach, and fundraising events. Their dedication is instrumental in strengthening MACV’s ability to support veterans rebuilding their lives in Minnesota.
