From the cookout to the conversations, residents, volunteers, and community members came together to build the connections that make Veteran Village feel like home.

National Night Out is about more than sharing a meal. It is an opportunity for neighbors to get to know one another, strengthen relationships, and create the kind of community where people feel welcomed and valued. At Veteran Village, those moments matter.

Throughout the evening, residents gathered with volunteers and local community members over food, Lenny the Veteran Village facility dog, lawn games, and conversation. New friendships were formed, familiar faces caught up, and everyone had the chance to simply enjoy time together.

A special thank you to the Eagan Lions, whose volunteers helped make the evening possible by serving food, welcoming guests, and creating a fun, inviting atmosphere. Their partnership is a great example of how local organizations can make a meaningful difference for Veterans.

For Veterans rebuilding their lives, a strong community can be just as important as stable housing. Feeling connected to neighbors, knowing there are people who care, and having opportunities to gather all contribute to a place where Veterans can thrive.
