MACV Employee Spotlight – Kheta Roberts
This week we are featuring Kheta Roberts.
Before joining the MACV team, Kheta worked with Ramsey County, connecting people to services through the intake line. She was drawn to MACV because she comes from a long line of military family members. Her great-grandfather, grandfather, and great-uncle are on her mom’s side, her father and others are on his side, and her daughter and daughter-in-law all have or are serving in the military. Kheta has other nonprofit experience and is passionate about making a difference. At MACV, Kheta is a housing stability case manager.
“Veteran homelessness is a problem that we can all help solve by communicating the resources for them. There should be zero judgment and just service—the way they served us. For me, it is that simple. Let’s just do it.” -Kheta Roberts
Kheta finds being hands-on and seeing the success of our clients and seeing them housed and happy to be the most rewarding part of working for MACV. At MACV, she takes great pleasure in aiding Veterans in their journey to secure a place they can proudly call home.
Outside of work, when she’s not dedicating her time to the service of others, Kheta devotes herself entirely to her family. She is the proud mother of four daughters and the loving grandmother to three grandchildren.
Kheta, we thank you for your service to your community!
