MACV’s 3rd Annual Volunteer Appreciation Event

As part of National Volunteer Appreciation Month, we were proud to host our 3rd Annual Volunteer Appreciation Event, a time to recognize the people who make this work possible.
Thank you for joining us to celebrate the impact of volunteerism at MACV. Volunteers are at the core of ending Veteran homelessness and supporting the Veterans we serve, and this event was an opportunity to come together and reflect on that shared commitment.
In 2025, more than 700 volunteers across Minnesota dedicated their time and energy to MACV’s mission. That’s not just a number—it reflects hundreds of individuals and groups who showed up in meaningful ways. From assembling move-in kits and supporting events like the Winter and Summer Salutes to maintaining properties and creating welcoming spaces, each effort plays a role in helping Veterans move toward stable housing.
Volunteerism at MACV is grounded in something simple: showing up for your community. Every hour given and every connection made reinforces that Veterans are seen, supported, and not alone in their journey.
We’re also grateful to Palmer Lake VFW Post 3915 for hosting this year’s event and providing a space for our community to gather and celebrate.
To everyone who has volunteered with MACV—thank you. Your commitment continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of Minnesota Veterans and moves us closer to a future where homelessness is rare, brief, and nonrecurring.
