Take Strides To End Veteran Homelessness
Supporting our Veterans is not just about acknowledging their service; it’s about understanding and addressing the challenges they face post-service. This includes helping those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
The Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) is an organization dedicated to supporting Veterans, and this year, several brave and passionate individuals have stepped up to raise funds for MACV by participating in the Twin Cities Marathon Weekend.
One such individual is David Nguyen, an Army Veteran and MACV Subsidy Director. David is taking on the 10-mile race, grateful for the opportunity to raise funds to support homeless Veterans and their families in Minnesota. You can donate to David’s fundraising campaign here.
Another participant is Sarah Anderson, a nurse and mother of three. Sarah’s husband Chase is a disabled Army infantryman, and witnessing his struggles has fueled her passion to support those who have sacrificed so much for our country. Sarah is running the marathon, and you can contribute to her campaign here.
Jared Hendler is also running the 10-mile race. Jared’s commitment to helping Veterans find and maintain housing convinced him to join the MACV team. You can support Jared’s effort here.
Tyler and Maria Anderson, both 10-mile runners, understand that some Veterans need assistance to transition fully back into civilian life. You can help Tyler and Maria reach their fundraising goal here.
Marathon runner Adam Petersen is dedicated to MACV’s mission of ending Veteran homelessness in Minnesota. Support Adam’s cause here.
Father and son duo Allen and Eli Miller are running the 10-mile race to assist Veterans at risk of homelessness. You can contribute to their campaign here.
Brian Peterson, CFO of MACV is running the 10-miler and knows there are many combinations of resources and tools that can work together to support long-term stability of the Veterans MACV serves. Help Brian reach his fundraising goal here.
Zach Pettinger, another 10-mile runner, stands firmly behind MACV’s commitment to provide every Veteran with a dignified home. Help Zach reach his fundraising goal here.
Lastly, Reid Olson is participating in the 10-mile race, aware of the excellent work MACV does for homeless Veterans in Minnesota. You can donate to Reid’s campaign here.
Supporting these runners means supporting our Veterans. Let’s do our part in helping them transition smoothly into civilian life. Every donation counts, no matter the size. Thank you for your generosity and support.
