MACV Employee Spotlight – Xavier McCoy

Feature Story, Outreach

This week we are featuring Xavier McCoy.

Xavier always wanted to be a part of something big to give back to our community and help those in need. At MACV, he is on the outreach team. The outreach team helps Veterans get connected to MACV and find housing. What drew him to MACV is the mission to end Veteran homelessness because it “means a lot because we are making a change every day to help people and give back to our community.”

“The community needs to know that Veteran homelessness is a real thing that happens worldwide. The number of homeless Veterans changes every day, and there is a team of amazing people who want to see that number of homeless veterans drop or even drop to zero.” -Xavier McCoy

Xavier finds going to work each day to make a change in the lives of Veterans and the world the most rewarding part of working for MACV. Outside of work, he likes to hang out with his friends, play basketball, and walk his dog.

Xavier, we thank you for your service to our community!
