MACV Employee Spotlight – Courtney Hotovec

Kim North

Employment, Feature Story

This week we are featuring Courtney Hotovec.

Courtney served on active duty in the Marine Corps from 2004 to 2014 and was stationed at MCB Camp Pendleton and MCAS Miramar. At MACV, Courtney is a housing case manager in the southern region. Courtney went to school to be able to help other Veterans. She graduated from MSU Mankato in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Social Work.

“Homelessness can happen to any Veteran no matter what their age, race, gender, or if they have a physical or mental illness.” Courtney Hotovec

Courtney finds her job at MACV meaningful, especially “seeing the smiles on the faces of the Veterans we help.”

Outside of work, Courtney is a Marine Corps League Chapter member in Mankato. She enjoys painting and going to the shooting range with her significant other and children. During the warmer months, she enjoys camping and riding motorcycles.

Courtney, we thank you for your service to our country and community!
