Celebrating 15 Years of GiveMN: A Salute From MACV

Causes, Feature Story, Ways To Give

As we celebrate the 15th anniversary of GiveMN, the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans would like to extend its heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to an organization that has made a significant impact on our work over the years.

From its inception in 2009, GiveMN has been striving to create a better world by connecting generous donors with the causes they care about. It is through their platform that MACV has been able to reach out to compassionate individuals, enabling us to continue our mission of ending Veteran homelessness.

Give to the Max Day, an annual event organized by GiveMN, has been instrumental in supporting MACV’s work. This 24-hour extravaganza of generosity encourages Minnesotans to donate to local nonprofits and schools, including MACV. Over the past 15 years, the event has raised millions of dollars for thousands of organizations, making a profound difference in our communities.

MACV’s participation in Give to the Max Day has always been met with overwhelming support. Each year, we witness the incredible generosity of our community as they rally behind our cause. The funds raised during this event directly impact the Veterans we serve, ensuring they have access to housing, employment, legal services, and other supportive services.

As we look forward to Give to the Max Day on November 16, 2023, we are filled with anticipation and hope. We are confident that, with the continued support of GiveMN and our generous community, we can make strides toward ending veteran homelessness in Minnesota by serving one Veteran at a time.

On behalf of everyone at MACV, we congratulate GiveMN on 15 years of incredible service to our community. Your platform has not only facilitated giving but has also fostered a culture of generosity across Minnesota. Here’s to many more years of making a difference, one donation at a time.

Click here to Give to the MAX and have your donation matched from November 1st- 16th, 2023.
