11th Housing for Heroes Home For Veterans

Feature Story, Housing

We are celebrating the completion of our 11th home with Lennar Minnesota and the Housing First Minnesota Foundation Housing for Heroes Project!

In January, the Housing First Minnesota Foundation, in collaboration with Lennar Minnesota, handed over the keys to a brand-new four-bedroom home and a one-bedroom accessory dwelling unit in North Minneapolis to MACV.

This home is the fourth project completed by the Housing First Minnesota Foundation with partners Lennar Minnesota and MACV in the last 12 months – the most significant endeavor accomplished by this partnership thus far. It is the 11th Housing for Heroes home built since the partnership started in 2017.

This significant milestone marks another step forward in our mission to end Veteran homelessness in Minnesota and addresses the need for housing stability resources for Veterans within the community.
