MACV Employee Spotlight – Luis Campero

Kim North
April 18, 2023
Employment, Feature Story

This week we are featuring Luis Campero.

Luis served in the US Army as a 71M Chapel Activities Specialist. Luis was drawn to MACV by his passion for supporting fellow Veterans. At MACV, Luis is a employment case manager in St. Cloud.

“There are many reasons for homelessness and they are not all lazy people who just don’t want to work. Many people are only one paycheck away from homelessness.” Luis Campero

Luis is always prepared to serve a Veteran. He volunteers with the American Legion as Commander of the Bloomington, MN Post 550. He is also the 10th District Legislative Chair and the Department of Minnesota Employment Chair. In the DAV he is in MPLS Chapter 1 as 2nd Vice Commander and Service Officer and is also on the Department Legislative Committee with Trent Dilks.

Luis, we thank you for your service to our country and your service to our community!
