Special recognition goes out this month to Ashley Stai, Junior Auxiliary President, of the American Legion of Minnesota. For her service project, she choose to support MACV by raising $7,137 and collecting items to complete move-in kits for Veterans settling into their new homes.

She was also the special guest of AL Post 172 Commander Larry Fonder for this year’s Veteran’s Day on the Hill and was the youngest participant to meet with state legislators that day. Ashley continues to serve Veterans in her community and shares the work with her grandparents, Mary & Bill Kuperus. We are touched and amazed by the generosity and dedication she committed to support ending Veteran homelessness. Ashley is proof that our future is in good hands.
