2025 Salute to Servicewomen Golf Classic Raises Over $65,000 for Women Veterans

Feature Story

The 12th annual Salute to Service Women Charity Golf Classic was one for the books.

Held at the stunning Prestwick Golf Club in Woodbury, Minnesota, the day brought together a powerful mix of golfers, Veterans, volunteers, and supporters—all with one mission: to uplift and support women Veterans, especially those who have faced homelessness.

This year’s event was organized by a newly formed planning committee, whose fresh energy and dedication helped bring new ideas and momentum to the tradition.

The day kicked off with a moving opening ceremony that set the tone. We paused to reflect on the strength, resilience, and service of women Veterans in Minnesota—and recommitted ourselves to making sure they receive the support they’ve earned.

Throughout the day, teams hit the course for 18 holes of fun, friendly competition, and connection. Off the greens, the excitement continued with an incredible silent auction packed with items donated by generous businesses and individuals. From golf gear and getaways to local favorites, there was something for everyone—and all for a great cause.

Thanks to the generosity of attendees, sponsors, and donors, the event raised over $65,000—funds that will directly support women Veterans receiving services from MACV. These critical dollars will help provide stable housing, employment support, and access to the resources needed to rebuild their lives.

To everyone who joined us: thank you. Whether you sponsored a hole, bid on a silent auction item, volunteered your time, or showed up, we’re grateful.

Together, we’re building a stronger Minnesota for women Veterans. Click here to follow the golf classic on Facebook and be the first to get information about upcoming events and find your photos.  We can’t wait to see you next year!
