Veteran Village opens in Eagan

The $6 million project features 22 homes for veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
EAGAN, Minn. — A first-of-its-kind project opened to help homeless veterans in Eagan on Wednesday morning.
Veteran Village is a housing complex with 22 units providing safe and stable housing for veterans and their family members.
The goal is for residents to live there for at least two years. All units are priced within Section 8 standards, and subsidies are welcome
The partners in charge of this project tell us 10 people are already living in the homes, and full occupancy is expected in a matter of weeks.
