Showing Up with Pride and Supporting Veterans

Feature Story

MACV was proud to once again take part in the Twin Cities Pride Festival, celebrating Veterans, families, and allies in our community.

This event is always an important opportunity to connect with people impacted by military service, share our mission, and offer support to those navigating housing instability. Visitors spun our prize wheel (lots of high-fives were given), met our staff, and shared their stories. These conversations matter. They help us reach more Veterans and remind us why this work is so important.

At MACV, we believe every Veteran deserves to be treated with respect and dignity—no exceptions. That belief drives everything we do, especially when showing up for communities that have historically faced discrimination and barriers to housing.

We’re also grateful for our continued partnership with Lavender Magazine, which helps us stay connected to the LGBTQ+ community throughout the year.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s Pride. Thank you to everyone who stopped by!
