New Affordable Housing for Veterans in Rochester
MACV is thrilled to reveal the purchase of the Ultima, a brand-new 8-unit apartment building in Rochester, Minnesota. This endeavor has been made possible through the invaluable support of the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, underscoring our shared commitment to those who have served our country.
What makes this building special? This is the first time MACV is offering supportive housing in the Rochester area for the first time, providing much-needed options in one of Minnesota’s hardest-hit regions for lack of affordable housing. It’s an ideal affordable housing solution for Veterans working with MACV. The Ultima is centrally located, off of North Broadway, close to bus lines and other resources within walking distance. Every unit in the building is designated for Veterans, providing them with a safe and dignified place to call home.
“MACV’s pioneering initiatives in affordable housing have significantly contributed to creating accessible housing opportunities for Veterans throughout the state, with a notable impact in Rochester. We are thrilled to continue to support our Veteran community.”- MACV South Regional Director Sadie Rezac
