MACV Employee Spotlight – Pam Fredricksen
This week we are featuring Pam Fredricksen.
Pam is proud to be a part of MACV’s mission to end Veteran homelessness. Pam shared that she likes working at MACV because “the staff at MACV are incredibly dedicated, driven, passionate, creative, inspiring and the best team of people I have ever worked with. We all have the same mind-set and goals. You will never see a better group of people who work so well together as a team”. At MACV Pam is a Triage and Intake Specialist in the metro region.
“Every Veteran’s service experience is unique and unlike any other Veteran. MACV services are geared to address every Veteran as an individual. At MACV, we take those individual needs seriously and strive to do our best to ensure each veteran has a positive outcome with a positive future going forward.” Pam Fredricksen
Pam’s connection to the military is through her father, Gene Fredricksen who is also her hero. He survived the attack at Pearl Harbor and trained soldiers for the Korean War. She volunteers at United Legacy, a search and rescue organization dedicated to bringing missing children and adults home. Outside of work, she has many hobbies and interests.
She has enjoyed participating in community theatre for many years. Pam loves her four cats, the arts, photography, movies, music camping, her three adult children and six grandchildren. Pam loves to spend time and travel with her high school sweetheart, Tim (44 years). They will be on their Harley a lot more this summer! Pam is also learning how to sail so she and Tim can travel the world upon retirement.
Pam, we thank you for your service to our community!
