Home for the Holidays Received The 2025 Board of Governors’ Emmy® Award

We’re humbled and honored to share that Home for the Holidays has received the 2025 Board of Governors’ Emmy® Award.
Since 2017, this campaign—powered by MACV, WCCO & CBS News Minnesota, and the Minnesota Twins—has raised more than $4.9 million to help end Veteran homelessness in Minnesota. Each story shared through this annual campaign shines a light on the realities of homelessness and the hope that comes with housing and community support. This is the 2nd Board of Governors’ Emmy® Award this partnership has received!
WCCO plays a central role in making this impact possible. Their powerful storytelling and statewide reach help ensure MACV’s mission is seen and understood across Minnesota. Because of WCCO’s partnership, more people know who we are, more Veterans connect to our services, and more Minnesotans step up to give. They’ve helped make MACV a household name—and that visibility changes lives.
This recognition isn’t just for us. It’s for the Veterans who trust us with their stories, the Minnesotans who respond with compassion, and the partners who believe in a shared vision: ensuring every Veteran has a place to call home.
