MACV at the 2026 MSSA Conference

MACV had a strong presence at this year’s Minnesota Social Service Association (MSSA) Annual Conference, with staff from across the state in attendance. MSSA represents more than 4,000 health and human service professionals and supports the field through education, advocacy, and connections across Minnesota’s service systems.
The conference brings together professionals from nonprofit, government, and community organizations working across areas like mental health, homelessness, aging services, and family support. It provides an opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and learn about new approaches to supporting communities across the state.
One highlight was a presentation by MACV’s Amanda Hooper, who shared insights into how service providers can better identify Veterans and connect them with the full range of available community resources. Her session focused on collaboration across agencies and ensuring that Veterans are connected to trauma-informed resources.
Throughout the conference, MACV staff connected with social service professionals, partners, and organizations from across Minnesota. These conversations help strengthen the network of support that connects Veterans experiencing housing instability to the services they need.
MACV is proud to be part of this statewide community working together to support Veterans and strengthen the systems that help them find stability.
