MACV Hosted National Night Out at Arlington House

Feature Story

MACV hosted a National Night Out event at Arlington House in St. Paul. It was a simple but meaningful evening—filled with good food, a bounce house and yard games for kids, raffle items donated by Mendota VFW Post 6690, and conversations that brought neighbors, Veterans, and community together.

Events like this may seem small, but they go a long way in showing the Veterans we serve that they’re part of something bigger. Being surrounded by neighbors, volunteers, first responders, and friendly faces helps build a sense of belonging that can be just as important as housing itself.

We’re especially grateful for the incredible volunteers and staff who made the night welcoming for everyone who came through. Their presence and energy made a difference.

Thank you to the residents, community members, and local police and fire departments who joined us. We’re proud to be part of a neighborhood that values connection and looks out for one another.
