Housing for Heroes North Minneapolis Ribbon Cutting & Groundbreaking Event for Veterans Experiencing Homelessness
New four-bedroom, two-story home with an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) will provide much-needed housing for veterans who are without shelter in Minneapolis.

The Housing First Minnesota Foundation and build partner Lennar are excited to turn over the keys to the Minnesota Assistance Council of Veterans. This is our sixth Housing for Heroes build project and our first-ever detached ADU.
Across the street from the ribbon cutting, we will also break ground on our biggest investment in community build projects in one year. Four Housing for Heroes homes accompanied by four accessory dwelling units (ADUs) will be built by the end of the year—delivering impactful results and 20 more beds.
