Every Minnesota Veteran Deserves A Home For The Holidays!

This holiday season, we’re proud to partner with WCCO and Mall of America to bring awareness, action, and hope to Minnesota veterans.

The Home for the Holidays campaign raises support for veterans facing homelessness, connects our community through stories of resilience, and reminds us what it means to show up for those who’ve served.

At MACV, we believe every veteran deserves a home for the holidays. You can help.

Donate to the Community Tree

This year, the WCCO Community Tree has moved to the Mall of America atrium, where it will stand throughout December thanks to our partners at WCCO and Mall of America.

To help spread cheer to veterans living in MACV’s transitional housing, you can donate an ornament to the tree.

How to Donate an Ornament:

Once decorated, the ornaments and tree will be delivered to Veterans living in MACV homes and the Minneapolis VA Hospital to brighten the holidays for our service members and their families.

  • Drop-off in person: Bring your ornament to the Mall of America Atrium near the North entrance on Fridays or Saturdays in December.

  • Mail it in:
    WCCO Television
    Attn: Home for the Holidays
    90 South 11th Street
    Minneapolis, MN 55403

Include:

  • Your name

  • Phone number and email

  • City

  • Optional: A short message or the story behind your ornament.

Once decorated, the ornaments and tree will be delivered to one of MACV’s transitional homes to brighten the holidays for veterans and their families.
