Holiday Spirit: A Gift of Cookies

Cookies for Veterans

Just in time for Christmas, the Rosemount girls hockey team baked 12 dozen cookies for Veterans and MACV staff. Nate Martineau, MACV’s Operations Manager, distributed these delicious gifts to Vets in our hotel program – ensuring the holiday spirit made its way across the state.

These girls wanted to bring Christmas cheer and give something from the heart. They offered their time and love, and we gladly accepted their gift. There is no doubt how well received these cookies were amongst Minnesota’s Veterans. As anyone who has served away from home will tell you, homemade treats are always a welcome gift.

We offer a special thank you to Karla Forster at Ameriprise Financial for being a great hockey mom. We salute you for being a gracious community partner.
