Safe, Warm, Happy: Home for the Holidays

Housing, News

Having a Home for the Holidays means the world to those dwelling inside. For some, the risk for being on the street is all too real. In a wonderful turn of events, one Army Veteran went from the brink of homelessness to a warm, loving home for herself and her children. Malcalisha Jefferson shares her story with WCCO CBS Channel 4 in this heart-touching segment.

As the number of women in military service continues to rise, so does the need to help those impacted by homelessness. Right now, only 12% of those helped by MACV are women. The organization believes there are still more female Veterans they need to connect with.

You can help Veterans and their families right now. Join hundreds of others in our community that are giving the gift of a Home for the Holidays: mac-v.org/donate
