MACV Employee Spotlight – Lisa Jaeger
This week we are featuring Lisa Jaeger.
Lisa served five years of active duty in the Air Force, and Lisa’s grandfather is a Korean War and World War II Veteran. At MACV, Lisa works as a Housing Case Manager in the south region.
For Lisa one of the most rewarding parts of working for MACV is “working alongside people who really care about ending Veteran homelessness”.
“Veteran homelessness is real, even in small rural areas and there is assistance available.” Lisa Jaeger
Lisa shared that it is so meaningful to her in her work when a Veteran says, “nobody has offered to help me before” because MACV is there offering to assist those who need it most. Outside of her role at MACV, Lisa continues to support Veterans through Veterans Treatment Court and as a Veteran Peer Group Facilitator. Lisa also works part-time as a mental health counselor in rural areas
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and doing creative projects.
Lisa, we thank you for your service to our country and your service to our community!
