Founded in 1942, the Women’s Army Corps (WAC) was instrumental in breaking barriers and proving that women were vital contributors to the defense of our nation. Throughout its history, the WAC empowered women to serve in a variety of roles, from clerical and administrative positions to technical and medical specialties.
