Join us for the annual Salute to Service Women Charity Golf Classic (STSW Golf Tournament), a premier event dedicated to supporting and honoring women veterans, especially those who have faced homelessness. Set against the backdrop of the scenic Prestwick Golf Club in Woodbury, Minnesota, this event brings together community members, veterans, and supporters from across the state to raise critical funds for the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV). 

Purpose of the Event: The STSW Golf Tournament is more than just a sporting event; it’s a vital initiative to raise awareness and funds to assist homeless women veterans in Minnesota. Since its inception in 2014, the tournament has successfully raised over $200,000, directly supporting MACV’s efforts to provide transitional and permanent housing solutions for women veterans. These funds help cover crucial costs like rent, down payments, and moving expenses, enabling our heroes to transition to stable and dignified living conditions. 

Event Features: Participants will enjoy a variety of golf playing options, including four-sums, three-sums, and two-sums, along with chances to win various prizes and giveaways. The event will conclude with an evening of festivities featuring dinner and a special program, free for all women veterans. It’s an excellent opportunity for veterans to share experiences, reunite with peers, and forge new connections in a supportive environment. 

About MACV: Celebrating its 33rd anniversary, the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans is dedicated to ending veteran homelessness in Minnesota. Founded by a local VFW post and grown significantly over three decades, MACV now serves over 3,000 veterans annually through comprehensive services including legal support, case management, and direct housing assistance. Our mission is clear: Ensure no veteran in Minnesota is living without shelter.
