Feature Story

This week we are featuring Travis Spencer.

Travis is a MACV Residential Service Coordinator and for him one of the most rewarding parts of working at MACV is “the smile that you see when a Veteran or Veteran and their family moves into one of our houses.”  Day to day interactions with the Veterans that are living in our transitional housing is Travis’ favorite part of the job. Travis has worked as a chemical dependency counselor for over 16 years.

“Just being able to help people with moving forward in their life is something I love doing.”  Travis Spencer

Outside of work, Travis participates in his community through recovery 12- step groups. Additionally, he has friends that served in the military and is passionate about making sure everyone knows they can help MACV end Veteran homelessness by getting involved with the organization any way you can.

Travis, we thank you for your service to our community!
