MACV Employee Spotlight – Tenia Johnson

Shaun Riffe
July 13, 2022
Feature Story

This week we are featuring Tenia Johnson.

Tenia’s family has served in the Army and Marines. She finds that MACV’s mission to end veteran homelessness contributes to society’s well-being with each Veteran that is served. She believes that Veteran homelessness and civilian homelessness are paralleled.

Tenia is new to the MACV team and serves as the Shallow Subsidy Case Manager. She enjoys working with diverse populations and collaborating with different teams at MACV.

“Veteran Homelessness is no different than civilian Homelessness. They go hand in hand. The contribution to society as a whole is improved with each person we reach.” Tenia Johnson

Tenia supports Heroes on Horseback, a nonprofit that provides equine therapy for Veterans with disabilities, through fundraising assistance. Tenia enjoys spending time with her family, meditating, and practicing Reiki.

Tenia, we thank you for your service to our community!
