MACV Highlights Minnesota’s Leadership at the 2025 NCHV Conference

MACV staff proudly participated in the 35th Annual National Coalition for Homeless Veterans (NCHV) Conference in Washington, D.C.—the largest national gathering dedicated to ending Veteran homelessness.
With more than 700 attendees and 46 sessions, the conference brought together government agencies, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and advocates from across the country. It offered a vital opportunity to connect, learn, and strengthen the collective effort to serve Veterans with dignity and impact.
Throughout the week, MACV staff led and engaged in discussions on topics including holistic Veteran support, financial stability, landlord engagement, and collaborative housing strategies. These conversations reflected the depth of our commitment to making homelessness among Veterans rare, brief, and nonrecurring.
Minnesota’s leadership in this work continues to gain national recognition. Through strong cross-sector partnerships, bold leadership, and consistent state-level investment, we are seeing measurable progress—and were honored to share our experience and outcomes with a national audience.
MACV was also proud to celebrate one of our long-standing collaborators, the Lennar Foundation, named the 2025 Outstanding Partner of the Year by the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans. This recognition honors the Foundation’s deep and ongoing commitment to building not just homes, but sustainable pathways to stability for Veterans. Their partnership exemplifies the kind of integrity, compassion, and action needed to move this mission forward.

We are grateful to represent Minnesota on this national stage and to be part of a movement that centers Veterans and their needs. Special thanks to Amanda Hooper, Kurt Johnson, Jon Lovald, Lindsey Hofer, Susan Tulashie, Sara Riegle, and Colleen Salinas for their leadership and insight as they presented
