SUMMARY:22 Degrees: A Workout Event to Support Veterans
DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Fit and Grit Training to benefit Mission 22.\nOn average\, 22 veterans a day commit suicide. Veteran suicide rates are almost double that of the non-veteran population. Four times as many veterans have died via suicide than in combat. While these numbers may change\, the message is the same. Veteran suicide is a huge problem. \nAs a veteran owned business\, we understand the weight of war and its lasting impacts on our veteran community. And we want to be part of the solution. That’s why we’ve partnered with Mission 22 to help raise awareness of veteran mental health and wellness. \nWe are hosting a fitness event to promote mental and physical health and wellness benefits as well as to raise funds to support Mission 22 in its goal of helping veterans heal by providing access to important resources while working to eliminate barriers to care and wellness. \n \n
