The Warrior’s Path is not a program\, it is a course of study to learn how to drop labels such as “broken”\, “damaged” and not be anchored to diagnoses such as PTSD. We are so much more than that\, and embarking on the Warrior’s Path is to acknowledge our role as leaders in our families\, churches\, and communities\, and forgive ourselves for whatever our role may have been in past traumatic events. \nPost Traumatic Growth is a powerful force which improves our families\, our communities\, and ourselves. \n\n\nHOW IS WARRIOR’S PATH DIFFERENT FROM OTHER SERVICES OFFERED? \n\n\n\n\nFirst\, it puts the veteran\, and their spouse or loved ones\, in the driver’s seat. Every participant in the program designs and follows a path of their own design\, and Every Third Saturday provides the support\, resources\, and accountability. \nSecond\, spouses and loved ones are not only included in the program\, but can participate on their own individual path. So often\, spouses and loved ones have a minimal role in the veteran’s treatment and suffer in their own way. Caring for a veteran who is struggling can be just as tough as being a veteran who is struggling\, and our program wants to pay the proper care and attention to them as well.

DESCRIPTION:Lost Sanity Brewing joins with the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) to help end Veteran homelessness in Minnesota. \n3 p.m. – Meet the MACV Team! \n6: 30 p.m. – Live Auction! \nLost Sanity Brewing\, established in 2018 by the Fenske Family. Our local roots engrained a serious sense of pride in us\, so we thought we’d be crazy not to open a brewery in Madelia. We’re locally owned and operated\, pulling the majority of our ingredients from resources in the area. \nThis year\, the dedicated MACV staff is providing additional housing units with innovative program models in response to expected shifts toward serving older individuals as well as increasing numbers of women and individuals with children. Their team works daily to address and prevent widespread unemployment\, lack of access to reliable transportation\, and housing unsheltered Veterans during potentially dangerous Minnesota winters.
