SUMMARY:The Valor Cup 2022
DESCRIPTION:Veteran Valor Farm – Veterans assisting other Veterans to get on their feet. Veteran Valor uses a farming environment to encourage internal growth\, skill development and motivation to live at a standard / quality of life veterans deserve. \nThough turning Veterans into farmers is not our first priority\, it is not beyond our reach. Unfortunately\, becoming a farmer is a very expensive venture for one without land\, let alone money. We find becoming a farmer more of future goal if they so wish\, as we want to concentrate on getting them stable for the time being\, and then encourage them to get to where they want to be doing want they want to do. \nVeterans Valor Cup Date : July 28\, 2022. \nTournament begins at 1:00pm and all players should show up at least 30 minutes prior to play. \nEntry Fee: $75.00 per person or $300 per team. This includes tournament entry and a meal after the ninth hole. \nA silent auction will be held one hour before and winners announced after tournament prizes conclude. \nThere will be five individual hole proxy contests designated by Greg Gamble\, the owner of Emily Greens. \nThere will be first\, second and third place prizes payouts.

This is not a sales event. Monticello RV Center will not be open for business during these three days. This will allow the staff to focus exclusively on the heroes event. This will be a community with Free admission and no charge for the general public to attend. \n“Local Heroes Days” will showcase our local heroes and have representatives and vehicles (new and old) for viewing and interaction with the general public. Wright County Sheriff\, Sherburne County Sheriff\, State Highway Patrol\, Monticello Fire Department\, Big Lake City Police\, Minnesota Army National Guard plus many other organizations will be in attendance. The front area of the sales lot will be cleared of RV campers and replaced with “heroes” vehicles for the public to view. There will be booths set up inside the dealership so that heroes groups can have information regarding their entities structure and purpose available for attendees. This will allow the public to become more educated about all they do to serve the community. \nEach day during the event there will be free food and beverages for the public while supplies last. Hamburgers\, hotdogs\, chips\, sweet corn\, and rootbeer will be served. Any kids who meet and talk with one of the law enforcement officers will be given a coupon for a Free ice cream treat redeemable on site at the Cub food table. \nMonticello RV Center will be coordinating with their vendors and other community businesses to collect prizes to be given out to any “local heroes” who attend the event. There will be a separate drawing for the general public prizes.
