MACV hosted its 4th Annual Summer Salute at CHS Field in St. Paul, bringing together Veterans, their families, service providers, volunteers, and community partners for a day focused on connection, support, and stability.

Summer Salute is more than a resource event. It is one of the most meaningful ways we connect directly with Veterans who may be experiencing housing instability or looking for additional support. By bringing services together in one place, we help remove barriers and make it easier for Veterans to access the resources they need.

This year, more than 130 Veterans connected with support from 72 service providers offering housing resources, health care, employment services, legal assistance, benefits, and other essential programs. Every conversation created an opportunity to move one step closer to long term stability.

The event would not have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers, sponsors, and MACV staff from across Minnesota. Their commitment ensured Veterans were welcomed, supported, and connected with the services that best fit their needs.

Summer Salute is about more than sharing information. It is about building relationships, creating opportunities, and making sure Veterans know they are not alone. Every connection made during the event has the potential to change the course of a Veteran’s future.
